It ’ s taken decades of hard work to get Encirc where it is today — the company was born in 1998 , with a single glass manufacturing plant in Derrylin , Northern Ireland . Ireland , and another in Italy . The company has come a long way since building its first glass plant over 25 years ago . Its second location was established in 2004 in Elton , Cheshire , and it was here that the company became the very first to perfect the 12-section quad gob manufacturing process . Ten years later , the company established its very own academy . Originally known as The Encirc Academy , it was later renamed The Vidrala Academy , following the Vidrala Group ’ s purchase of Encirc .
