Founded in 2011 , Flux Power was established to address the increasing demand for reliable renewable energy systems . Its original focus was on designing and manufacturing battery packs for electric vehicles as drivers sought more eco-friendly options , however , after a strategic switch over to the material handling industry in 2013 , business began to boom .
The company started to manufacture lithium-ion battery packs for forklifts and industrial trucks , before eventually expanding into airport GSE ( Ground Safety Equipment ) technology and stationary energy storage .
