When it comes to sheet metal and fabrication , its capabilities include laser cutting , bush insertion , CNC punching , MIG and TIG welding , and metal folding and forming .
Within its surface finishing capabilities , Propak offers painting and surface treatments , powder coating , and part marking and engraving , as well as 80 electro plating processes . In fact , 13,000 square feet of Propak ’ s 80,000-square-foot site is dedicated to electro plating , which houses 45 tanks to allow the business to provide a combination of 80 different processes to comply with various specifications .
Lastly , through its KANBAN storage warehouse and ERP system , Propak offers product lifecycle management once a customer ’ s products are designed and being manufactured . This provides an added benefit for customers , as they can have products priced and manufactured against their EAU , shortening both lead times and costs , as well as eliminating the need for in-house storage .
