Hydro was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1963, when it began manufacturing pressure washers, although it soon underwent a

strategic switch in 1983 to solely focus on the chemical management market, which

was a relatively new sector at the time. Less than ten years later, the business was proud to open its first European office in Germany, opening the doors to new opportunities. 1997, however, marked an evolutionary shift in Hydro’ s journey as it was acquired by PSG – a Dover company – which kickstarted a fresh chapter for Hydro as it continued to grow and prosper. Business boomed and, following a string of acquisitions and new launches, Hydro has transformed into a production powerhouse. Today, Hydro encompasses over six decades of experience and expertise, and, with manufacturing and distribution facilities in North America, China and Germany, it now boasts a large international network that only continues to expand year upon year.

Innovation lies at the core of Hydro, driving everything from its research and development to its manufacturing processes and extensive product range. The company is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement; in 2024, for
