Integrity HD is notable for being one of the first multi-bay manufacturing facilities in the area to be constructed with a singlecolumn design. This layout not only creates an aesthetically pleasing interior but also makes the facility easier to maintain, as per 6S Lean methodology. Each bay is equipped with a 50-ton crane and a 16 × 16 bay door for deliveries. Before any product leaves the shop, it passes through a dedicated inspection area to ensure it meets all of Integrity’ s standards, including surface finish, precision of functional features, and overall completeness. The south-facing windows on the shop floor and in the break room eliminate the need for skylights and flood the facility with natural light, making HD2 a welcoming environment for many hardy plant species. Additionally, floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the secondstory meeting spaces overlook the shop floor, further enhancing the openness of the facility. The new facility significantly enhances
Integrity’ s operational capabilities through a range of advanced machinery. Indeed, HD2 houses eight state-of-the-art CNC machines: two Correa Fox models, four DMG 270u machines with pallet changers, and two DMG 270p machines. These machines are integrated into a centralized conveyor system that automatically transports steel chips to the appropriate disposal bins, thereby streamlining waste management and further improving operational efficiency.
