M & M Industries, a thriving family-run business, is reshaping its customers’ futures one creative design at a time

& M Industries( M & M) was started in 1986 by the late Glenn Morris Sr., an inventor and entrepreneur who held over 30 patents in closures and packaging. Today, his son, Glenn Morris, who is the CEO of M & M, has over 25 patents for custom designs and packaging. Driving revolutionary results in innovation remains at M & M’ s core.

Glenn joins us to elaborate on the company’ s evolution and how it is embracing design and sustainable practices to meet modern demands. Starting with M & M’ s history, Glenn begins:“ My father has always been an entrepreneur, and he and my mother ran another business prior to M & M, where they made child-resistant prescription vials. He eventually sold that business, and just as I was graduating from college, he asked me if I wanted to start a new company with him. Although it was an unexpected change of direction, I decided to take the leap, as I knew I would learn more from working with him than from any other path. Subsequently, my father was approached to provide a child-resistant packaging solution for pool chemicals. Our first shipment of this product was in 1989, and this type of packaging still accounts for a significant portion of our sales today. We expanded our creativity into new markets and introduced additional packaging, as well as designing custom solutions.
