Founded in 2021, the Coventry-based company was formed following the acquisition of former Remploy Automotive operations, which originated in the 1940s. Thanks to this heritage, it is a strong advocate for inclusive employment and has gone from strength-to-strength with recent contracts and digital transformations.
Managing Director, Kevin Hubbard, explains how Evtec’ s inclusive employment ethos impacts the profitable business environment:“ Forty-three percent of our workforce is made up of individuals with disabilities. We actively partner with local schools and colleges to offer internships to young people with disabilities, many of whom are offered the opportunity to transition into permanent roles with Evtec after graduation. We don’ t receive any government support- these initiatives are entirely selffunded. I think this highlights our genuine commitment to creating opportunities. Our ambassador, Nic Hamilton, supports this mission and works closely with us to reinforce the message that disability does not limit one’ s ability to succeed and thrive in the workplace.”
