where collaboration happens instinctively,” shares Liam.“ There is also a deep well of experience across the workforce, which is actively shared, whether through formal training, mentoring, or simply stepping in to help colleagues on the shop floor. The result is a culture where people feel confident asking questions and continuously developing their skills.”
With priorities for 2026 firmly centered around strengthening capability and delivering on the next phase of its growth strategy, Trac is also planning to invest around £ 20 million in advanced manufacturing equipment over the next four years. This includes a mix of high precision CNC grinding machines and the latest metrology and measurement technologies.“ These investments are not just about adding capacity, they’ re about ensuring we can meet rising customer volumes, support increasingly complex product development work, and stay ahead in an industry where precision and repeatability are absolutely critical.” Liam states.
Key focuses this year will be bringing online the new equipment already on order, as well as new product introduction( NPI).“ We have several significant NPI programs scheduled, many of which involve complex turbine components and emerging technologies.” Looking three to five years ahead, Liam expects Trac to be a substantially larger and more capable organization than it is today. He concludes:“ Ultimately, we see Trac operating at a higher level of scale and technical capability, delivering complex components more efficiently and playing an even more significant role across the aerospace, defense and energy sectors.” ■
