performance is only as good as the data you put into them. Moving forward, we’ re progressing data sharing across platforms and exploring how we can better utilize AI to connect several systems. We’ re also using AI to predict new trends and products, as well as a special service tool where our technicians can ask questions or automate processes.”
Vince also shares his perspective on the transition:“ Mike has always possessed leadership qualities alongside an effective educational background, and he has done an excellent job on the customer side of the business. The person at the top of any company must be able to connect with the customer base, setting an example for the wider team. I’ m a firm believer in promoting from within and Mike is the perfect example of the ideal person to lead the business through its next era. I’ ll remain in the company for a while in an advisory role, but I’ m conscious to be a useful resource rather than stepping in the way of Mike and his team.”
With a purposeful succession plan in place, Elliott looks poised for another successful era of growth and success.“ Our vision for the future is‘ exceptional equipment, exceptional service, and exceptional people’ so we’ ll continue to identify and represent unique solutions for the industry, while making small, meaningful changes to strengthen our internal systems and secure the right people on our teams,” Mike says.
“ From a broader perspective, it’ s important to consider what the future of manufacturing in Canada will look like to anticipate the equipment companies will need in years to come,” Vince concludes.“ There’ s going to be uncertainty and challenges along the way, but our strong manufacturing base, superior service, and dedicated people will ensure our continued success.” ■
