Consequently, Anguil has built up a substantial service team that now accounts for about 40 percent of the business. That service extends beyond Anguil’ s own equipment. The company will service any manufacturer’ s oxidizer globally, which has opened up a considerable amount of additional market opportunities.
Anguil’ s global reach continues to expand its presence across the globe, with India representing one of the most significant recent developments. Chris explains how that journey began.“ Our first installation in India was 1996 but we didn’ t start truly focusing on this region until the early 2010s. From a demographic standpoint, the country has well over a billion people, and while a lot of the population still faces real challenges around poverty, food and water, a growing middle class is driving increased demand for goods and services, and with that, a rise in manufacturing. Initially, we were trying to sell into the Indian market from the US without any local presence, and while we found opportunities to quote, we struggled to convert them into orders. So, we partnered with someone from the industry who approached us about forming a new company together. We established it in 2020, and what started as a team of three has grown to around 35 employees, primarily focused on the Indian market but also providing support back to Anguil in the US.
