Eight years after UK-based company Angloco first formed in December 1965, the owners decided to bring somebody in as a troubleshooter – somebody who could essentially run the company and shift it away from general vehicle conversions, such as tankers and mobile libraries, toward firefighting vehicles. Fast forward seven decades and Angloco is now the UK’ s oldest fire and rescue vehicle manufacturer; a truly impressive milestone, which Managing Director Alistair Brown explains was reached with the help of his father.
