Innovation and growth
Due to the rapid growth in catalog and internet-based retailers in the late 90s , Prepac launched a drop-shipping program that still exists today and offers the industry ’ s most efficient , direct , factory-to-home shipment solution for internet retailers . Additionally , its new multimedia storage program rapidly became a category leader .
In 2002 , Prepac opened its first showroom at the International Home Furniture Market in High Point , North Carolina and its product selection expanded from storage solutions to multi category furniture offerings . A further investment in a new facility took its production , technology , manufacturing , and distribution to a new level , helping to solidify its position as the leader in cost competitive and expedited delivery of RTA solutions .
A couple of years after the installation of its larger , permanent showroom at the World
Market Center in Las Vegas , Prepac went on to mark 30 years in business in 2009 , launching 60 new products in one year and introducing a 24-hour quick-ship program .
For Prepac , innovation continues to drive success and its product designers steadily add to its portfolio of stylish and functional solutions . Over the years , the business has made significant investment in state-of-theart CNC machinery and logistics systems to bolster the manufacturing and delivery of its unique lifestyle and storage products .
The company ’ s significant factory expansion and new fulfilment center went on to drive an increase in production and its efforts were recognized by the Export Awards with the accolade of 2017 British Columbia Exporter of the Year for the Consumer Products category .
