Founded in 1986 by Peter Zieve , Electroimpact is located in the shadow of the Boeing Corporation ’ s ( Boeing ) Everett Plant . In fact , the company started its journey in the industry primarily as a supplier of machine tools to Boeing . However , over the years , Electroimpact has gradually expanded its business overseas and became a major supplier for other leading aerospace companies , such as Airbus . While its main campus and head office are located in Mukilteo , Washington , US , the organization has also established a large satellite office in the UK with over 100 engineers and maintains full-time staff in many other countries where it has sold equipment to better support its valued customer base .
