A family business- in every sense
Cadorath remains proudly third generation family-owned and operated, with leadership that reflects both continuity and collaboration.
“ I work alongside my brother, my brotherin-law, my half-brother, and my stepbrother,” says Brandy.“ So yes- it’ s very much a family business.”
At the same time, she emphasizes that the idea of family at Cadorath extends well beyond bloodlines.
“ Over the decades, many of our long tenured employees have invited their own family members to join the company,” she explains.“ That’ s why we say,‘ We are Cadorath’- by name or not.”
That culture of ownership and pride is reinforced by the company’ s deep ties to aviation. Brandy’ s grandfather and father were both pilots, as is the company’ s partner at Meridian Helicopters.
“ One of the quietest but most meaningful proofs of trust is that our own team flies in
equipment that includes parts they’ ve worked on,” she says.“ When the people closest to the work trust it with their lives, it tells you everything about quality and accountability.”
Life extension and reliability across industries
Across all divisions, Cadorath’ s capabilities center on special processes, engineered repair, and life extension.
In aviation, the company delivers a full suite of services: piece part MRO, precision machining, plating and coatings, OEM aligned repairs designed to extend part life, engine services in Winnipeg and Lafayette, parts distribution through CADI, and leasing and brokerage through Meridian Helicopters. Cadorath has manufactured augers since 1975, supporting major OEMs and end users with augers produced in Winnipeg, Orion, and Bettendorf / Quad Cities. These augers serve a wide range of applications, including agricultural grain handling,
