Our steel sleeper bracket range launched 2024, for example, has been supplied into over 900 retailers and continues to expand,” he shares. A. Perry works closely with customers to spot demand early, shortening the path from concept to market and making sure development matches what customers want.
Product pipeline
The QuickClip fencing system shows this approach in action. The original idea didn’ t come from inside the business.“ The idea came from working closely with a major agricultural merchant that saw a gap for an alternative to timber fence posts,” Guy recalls. Timber posts mean regular replacement and cost. The team set out to design a steel alternative that can last for decades without any maintenance. The first version worked, but it wasn’ t as efficient.“ We developed a prototype steel system, but it needed external clips and wasn’ t as efficient to install,” he explains.
That result led to more development. The team spent over two years fine-tuning the design before launching QuickClip at the end of 2025.
