business, we’ re conscious of the fact that we operate in lots of different cultures and so need a global set of values that really define our vision and mission.
“ Our redefined vision is‘ to improve lives worldwide through clinically trusted and progressive medical device solutions’. We wanted it to reflect the impact that our products have on a global scale. Ultimately, we want to be clinically trusted by the people who use our products. Finally, we are progressive: we’ ve invested in an active
R & D department so we can adapt when markets and clinical practices change.
Our mission is‘ to design and deliver quality medical devices that clinicians trust and patients rely on globally, acting with agility and care’. We’ re very conscious that our patients rely on our products, not just clinicians. Then finally our agility: we’ re a privately owned business with the dynamics to adapt quickly.”
Another key growth-driver for the business is its continued investment in technology. This is where Flexicare’ s private ownership boasts another key strength: the profit that the group generates is reinvested back into the business. Over recent years, for instance, the organization has proudly invested in a number of different tech platforms that will help to position it for further growth: one such platform is Windchill( a product lifecycle management system) working with PLM Central. This system is helping Flexicare to be more agile, efficient, and accurate with its products and processes. Additionally, Flexicare is currently exploring opportunities to implement AI into its operations. An example of this is its collaboration with NetStock, a platform that sits atop its ERP system to assist with forecasting.
