Both systems represent two examples of how Flexicare is investing in technology. Over recent years, the group has also invested heavily in amplifying its ESG efforts, an initiative that has led to it being Highly Commended for the ESG Excellence of the Year Award at the Finance Awards Wales 2026.
“ In late 2024, we decided to supercharge our ESG activities, not just because there’ s a growing demand for it, but because it’ s the right thing to do,” Marc explains.“ In early 2025, we brought in a dedicated ESG Lead and, for the 12 months that they have been with the business, they have made a ginormous impact. Last year we partnered with EcoVadis, a well-known ESG rating system, and were awarded the‘ Committed’ badge, which is an independent demonstration of the journey we are on and the plan we have in place. A lot of our ESG strategy is based around reducing our environmental impact. For instance, we’ ve recently changed our HQ’ s electricity supplier to Hydro Wales, which is a hydropower plant
in North Wales. It’ s been a big step forward for us to shift fully in the UK to renewable energy.
“ ESG, however, is not just about sustainability, but also respect for our communities an wider stakeholders. Another initiative recently implemented was our first-ever Flexicare Global Volunteering Day, where we encouraged all our employees across the world the opportunity to give back to their local communities.” As Flexicare looks to the future, its ambition is clear: to keep pushing
